Chemin-A-Haut 4 Mile Trail Run
The Chemin-A-Haut 4 Mile Trail Run is held in Bastrop, Louisiana at 14656 State Park Rd. The 2026 edition marks the tenth year of the event and follows natural trails through forests, along lakeshore and bayou, and on a route used by Native Americans centuries ago. Organizers present awards for Top Overall Male and Female and first and second place for men and women in the following age groups: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and over. Medallions and awards are hand-made from cypress wood.
Early registration is $30 from July 1 through August 31. From September 1 through October 10 the run registration fee is $40; run registration is not available October 11 through October 16. A guaranteed event t shirt requires registration before October 1, 2026.
