Charm Bracelet Half Marathon
The Charm Bracelet Half Marathon is a coastal trail running event on 11 April 2027. The route follows the King Charles III England Coast Path south from Redcar and finishes in the fishing village of Staithes. The course passes the 'Circle' sculpture between miles 7 and 8, goes through coastal villages, runs on sand and along cliffs, and uses sections of the Cleveland Way.
The route measures 14.35 miles, with 1,591 ft of cumulative ascent. The surface is variable trail underfoot and includes mud, sand, rocks and tree roots. The event allows walkers who can complete the course within the permitted time and provides tail runners for support. There are two marshalled aid stations offering water and snacks, and first aid cover is available on the day.
Entry details include a standard fee of £39 or £37 for affiliates. Optional coach transport from Staithes to the start is available for £10. The entry fee includes a finishers medal. Trophies are awarded in multiple categories including first male, first female, first non binary and age group winners. Dogs are not allowed on the course due to the agricultural nature of the route.
Bookings may be transferred up to four weeks before the event and entries can be deferred once to the following year. Refunds are not offered. The organisers offer an option to plant a tree instead of receiving a tee and encourage use of public transport for return travel. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
