About the race
Chamna Chase is a trail running event on October 24, 2026, at Chamna Natural Preserve in Richland, WA, organized by Nomad Trail Runners.

- Half marathon
- 10K
- 6K
The half marathon follows a double out and back with a loop in the middle. The 10K uses the first out and back plus the loop, while the 6K is a larger loop. Courses are routed mostly on dirt trail with occasional rocky sections; the half marathon and 10K include some pavement. The route will be marked with fluorescent tape and course maps will be emailed to entrants before race day.
After the race there will be awards and snacks for entrants, plus special prizes from sponsors. Halloween costumes are strongly encouraged and prizes may be awarded for best costumes. Race T shirts are available for purchase with registration; order by September 15 to allow time for printing. Dogs are permitted on course if kept on a leash.
