About the race
The Wasdale fell race takes place on Saturday 10 July 2027 in Wasdale, Lake District, England. The course starts and finishes at Brackenclose, Wasdale, and covers 34 km (21.1 miles) with approximately 2750 m (9022 ft) of ascent. The event is categorised AL and carries a Permit with associated UK Athletics insurance from the FRA.
Entry is by pre-entry only; there is no entry on the day. Pre-entry fees are listed as £20 for members and £22 for non-members, with a field limit of 300. SportIdent is used for pre-entry payments and entries. Minimum age is 18; a reduced entry of £10 is noted for U23.
Teams are permitted, with open men teams of five and open women teams of three, plus additional veterans teams. There are no junior races.
Logistics note that NT Wasdale Head Campsite provides accommodation near the start and that parking is in the registration field. The organiser requests car sharing where possible.
