Thames Path 100 2027
The Thames Path 100 (TP100) is a point-to-point 100 mile / 161 km continuous trail race that follows the Thames Path from Richmond in south west London to the centre of Oxford. The course has about 1900 ft / 560 m of total climb and is roughly 25% paved and 75% trail. The event is held under an official UKA permit through the Trail Running Association.
Runners must finish within a 30 hour time limit. There are cut offs at every aid station to help keep competitors on schedule. There will be a minimum of twelve aid stations; stations provide water, sports nutrition from partners, snacks, and hot food at selected points. Drop bags are permitted with size limits and specified collection times; finish line bags have a maximum volume limit.
Entry details include a fee of £225 (£227 for unaffiliated runners) and a field size of 300 starters. To enter, runners must have completed at least one 50 mile race within 15 hours between 1 January 2022 and the race day. Entries for the 2027 event open 31 May 2026. Runners may also enter as part of the 100 mile Grand Slam.
Pacers are allowed from the 51 mile aid station at Henley; only one pacer may accompany a runner at a time. A dedicated race medical team will be on course; in an emergency competitors should call 999. The course uses permanent national trail markers and additional event markings.
