Thames Path 100
The Thames Path 100 takes place on 1 May 2027 and is a point to point 100 mile event following the Thames Path from Richmond in south west London to the Queen's College Sports Ground in Oxford. The course distance is 100mi (161 KM) with total climb around 1900 ft (560 m). Terrain is a mix of paved paths and trails, approximately 25% paved and 75% trail, with much of the route on groomed riverside paths.
The event is held under an official UKA permit through the Trail Running Association. The course is marked by permanent national trail markers and additional event ribbons and arrows. Runners must complete the course within a 30 hour limit. There is a minimum of twelve aid stations along the route supplying water, sports nutrition, hot drinks from Hurley onwards, and hot food at Henley, Goring and the finish.
Entry details include an entry fee of £225 (£227 for unaffiliated runners) and a qualification requirement of completing at least a 50 mile race within 15 hours between 1 January 2022 and race day. The field is limited to 300 starters.
Pacers are permitted from mile 51 at Henley and must travel on foot only. Drop bags may be deposited at the start for specified aid stations and must not exceed 50 cm x 30 cm x 30 cm. A mandatory kit list is enforced, with a one hour time penalty for missing items.
