North Downs Way 50
The North Downs Way 50 is a 50 mile (81 km) point to point trail race following the North Downs Way National Trail from Farnham in Surrey to Knockholt Pound near Greater London. The route covers about 5,600 ft (1,700 m) of total climb and remains on the North Downs Way until the final half mile into the finish fields behind Knockholt Pound Village Hall. Terrain is approximately 80% trail and 20% road.
The event includes six fully stocked aid stations offering a range of food and drinks, including options for vegetarian, vegan and gluten free needs. Medical cover is provided with race medics, static finish medical support and two race ambulances; additional medics will be present at many aid stations. Runners must finish within a 13 hour race cut off and may face intermediate cut offs at aid stations.
Entries open 21 June 2026 and all places are allocated first come, first served subject to a qualification standard. The entry fee is £118. Pacers and crew are not permitted and spectators must not attend aid stations. Mandatory kit must be carried at all times and random kit checks occur on course; a one hour time penalty applies for missing items.
