Cauldron Marathon
The Cauldron Marathon and Half Marathon take place in Ocala, Florida on October 24, 2026. The trail runs start and finish at Baseline Trailhead Park and follow sections of the Florida Trail and local mountain bike trails. The course is approximately 10% paved and 90% dirt trail. The event is scheduled to coincide with a seasonal Halloween theme and is held alongside the Cauldron Adventure Race.
Race entries are available with early and late pricing. Registration opens February 19, 2026; early registration ends August 24, 2026; registration closes October 22, 2026. Published entry fees are: • Half Marathon early $120 late $135. • Full Marathon early $135 late $150. No refunds are issued. Entries may be transferred to another racer in the same event without penalty until seven days before the event. Entries do not transfer to other events or future years. Each participant must print, sign, and bring the required waiver to check in.
The event provides a fully marked course, aid station supplies, timing, free parking, race shirts, finisher medals, free race photos, awards, and a post-race meal. Pacers are not allowed; support crews may assist at the finish area. Awards are given to top finishers and to age divisions including Overall, Masters (40 to 59), and Grand Masters (60 and over).
