Cattle Creep... A Little Further : 10-mile race in Milton Keynes

The event is a 10-mile road and trail race held on Sunday 7 February 2027 in North Milton Keynes. The route runs through parkland and along riverside paths, and it includes the Cattle Creep tunnel, a low and narrow passage beneath the Grand Union Canal that involves some steps down and can be dark when crowded. The course is a single lap and marked throughout.

Race packs are collected on the day from a registration tent at the venue. An Athlete Guide with event information and a written race briefing is sent to entrants about a week before the race; any last-minute briefings are given on the day. Volunteers are offered free entry into future events as part of the organiser’s volunteer scheme.

The venue is the picnic area adjacent to the Watermill Lane car park, Watermill Lane, Milton Keynes MK12 5NZ. There is no parking on Watermill Lane or Warren Park Business Park; nearby public car parks are typically a five to ten minute walk from the venue. Facilities and support listed for the event include an interlocking medal, water station on course, fully marked routes, marshals, medical support, chip timing with online results, professional photography, and finish line items. The event is canicross friendly and allows dogs on leads, with safety notes about the narrow start and tunnel. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
