Carsington 7+
Carsington 7+ is a 7.5 mile full clockwise circuit of Carsington Reservoir that passes along the water and through Derbyshire countryside. The course follows a single full lap around the reservoir.
All finishers receive a bespoke medal. Technical t shirts are available for purchase at entry and event t shirts may be purchased separately for collection on race morning. Entrants must be 16 years and over.
The event is licensed to the Association of Running Clubs and is part of the RunDerby Race Series. The official headline charity for the event is Derby & District RSPCA.
Entry details for 2027 include separate online prices for affiliated and unaffiliated runners, with affiliated entries priced at £20.50 and unaffiliated entries at £22.50. Prices include a Severn Trent Water participation fee and are not refundable. Race packs can be collected on the day at no extra charge or posted in the week prior to the race for £2.00. The entry closing date is Thursday 6 May 2027 at 11pm or when the race is full. The field is limited to 650 entrants and no entries are accepted on the day.
Affiliated runners who are members of an ARC running club and a UKA affiliated club and who hold a Unique Runners Number may be eligible for a £2.00 discount. Transfer of entries is permitted within a published transfer window for an administration fee of £3.00 plus any applicable unaffiliated fees, with transfers subject to completion and agreement to event terms.
