Cannock Chase Wild Trail 5 km & 10 km
Wild Deer Events stages two trail races at Cannock Chase Forest in Rugeley WS15 2UQ, north of Birmingham. The site is designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and contains forest, open heathland, and gravel trails. The terrain includes forest paths and gravel tracks, and the marked routes take in views around the forest.
Live chip timing is provided by Timing Up North. Finishers receive an event medal, and the event offers Wild Deer merchandise, a drink and a snack. A bespoke event T‑shirt is available for an additional £14. Parking at the venue is subject to a subsidised car parking charge.
Entry fees are shown in two categories and range from £22.00 to £26.00. Both routes are described as well signed to help participants follow the course.
