Canmore Ultra
The Canmore Ultra takes place on June 5, 2027 at the Canmore Nordic Centre. The event uses a looped course and is limited to 200 participants in its first year.

The course is a 12.5 km loop with two aid stations per lap, crew access, and allowance for drop bags at the start/finish aid station. Washroom facilities are located in the parking lot at the Canmore Nordic Centre lodge.
Registration includes a well marked course, professional medics on course, fully stocked aid stations, a crew accessible aid station, a finisher medal and a finisher sweatshirt. Aid stations will provide water, electrolyte drink, cola and snacks such as fruit, pretzels and chips.
Mandatory items to carry during the run include bear spray and a receptacle (bottle, cup, or bladder) sufficient to carry at least 1 litre of liquid between aid stations. Suggested equipment includes trail shoes, personal fuel and snacks, and optional hiking poles or a hydration belt or vest.
Safety rules prohibit dogs, headphones and strollers on the race course. Parking is limited and a Kanaskis Provincial Pass is required to park. Aid station cut-off rules apply to 50 km runners at the aid stations located around 37.5 km and 44 km.
