Burnsall Fell Race
The Burnsall Fell Race takes place in Burnsall village, Wharfedale, and is listed as a BOFRA Championship counter. The event for 2026 is scheduled for 6 September 2026.
The course begins with a steady climb through fields, then a short steep ascent through heather to a cairn. Runners follow the summit to the trig and then descend, usually straight over the edge. The senior and junior route distance is 1.50 miles (2.40 km) with approximately 800 feet (240 meters) of climb. Age categories include Under 9, Under 12, Under 14, Under 17 and Seniors.

Car parking is usually in a field accessed from a farm track opposite the main village car park and the usual charge is £3 per car.
