Bumble Bee Challenge Day 1 2027

Running Events Devon stages the Bumble Bee Challenge Day 1 on Saturday 11 September 2027 near Capel Lane, Littleham, Exmouth (EX8 2QZ, ///miss.race.open).

The event is a seven hour timed event on an accurately measured road course. Each lap is 5.3 km out-and-back along a scenic route on an old disused train line and is run entirely on tarmac. The listing also notes undulating terrain.

The event operates a TUGG system (Turn Up Get Going) that allows participants to start during the event window and complete as many laps as they can within the permitted time. Participants may walk or run; anyone who completes one or more laps within the permitted time is classed as a finisher and may collect a medal. If the event reaches capacity, later entrants receive a bespoke medal chosen from the options available on the day.

Practical details include a maximum of 50 entrants, a minimum age of 18 years, and entries close on 10 September 2027. The event holds permit number ARC. Entry prices are listed in four categories: Affiliated £32.00, Unattached £34.00, Unattached No Perks £23.00, and Affiliated No Perks £21.00.
