Buckeye Trail
The Buckeye Trail event takes place on June 27, 2027 at Oak Grove Picnic Area in Brecksville Reservation, on Valley Parkway in Brecksville, approximately 1.5 miles east of Brecksville Rd/US 21.
Distances offered:
- 50K ultra distance on trail terrain.
- 25K point to point from Pine Lane to Oak Grove.
The 25K uses the same trails as the 50K and is listed as a point to point route from Pine Lane to Oak Grove. The 50K began in 1994 as an informal birthday run and originally used an out and back course starting at Oak Grove and running south to Pine Lane, with additional segments that reached Brecksville Road; that first configuration was longer than 50K.
As one of the early ultramarathons in Ohio, the Buckeye Trail 50K is recognized as the oldest trail 50K in the state. Entry fees and registration windows are set for each distance. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
