Brynkinalt Running Festival
The Brynkinalt Running Festival, presented as Wrexham 5k & 10k Trail, takes place at Brynkinalt Estate on the edge of Wrexham. The event runs across two days with canicross on Saturday and standard trail running on Sunday. Dates are 6th and 7th March 2027.
The festival offers two measured distances on private estate land. The routes combine fast footpaths, grass sections and short stony areas, and include climbs with views across the estate. The organiser does not make the route public because the estate is normally closed to the public.

- 5k (approx) Minimum age 12 years
- 10k (approx) Minimum age 16 years
Race HQ, start and finish are located in front of Brynkinalt Hall, a short walk from the parking area. Parking is at Brynkinalt Estate, Chirk, Trevor Road LL14 5HA; there is a £3 parking fee and entrants are asked to arrive via the centre of Chirk. The event provides a help desk and music at the start area. There will be a water station halfway around the 10k route and water at the start and finish areas; runners are encouraged to bring a bottle to run with. Finishers receive a medal and other post-race goodies. Awards are given to the top three male and top three female finishers at each distance. The Movement Centre is listed as a charity partner.
