Brutal @ Bordon
Brutal @ Bordon takes place on Saturday 8th August; entries close 17:59 on Friday 7th August. The event listing shows 247 of 300 places entered and car sharing is available.
The course is a double-loop layout that uses woodland trails, sandy open areas and technical single track. The route includes an abundance of wet features, short sharp hills and numerous boggy sections. Spectators can view runners multiple times from within about 100 m of the arena.
Distances offered:
- 5 km single lap of the course.
- 10 km two laps of the course, with a 75 minute cut off to complete the first lap for the two lap option.
Entry fees vary by date. From 26 February early bird fees: 10 km senior £26.40, junior £25.00; 5 km senior £24.80, junior £23.00. From 15 June regular fees: 10 km senior £33.00, junior £25.00; 5 km senior £31.00, junior £23.00. Juniors are defined as under 16 on race day. Minimum ages are 10 for the 5 km and 13 for the 10 km.
Entrants may withdraw up until 14:00 on the Thursday prior to the event; withdrawn entries are credited to the entrant’s account for use at another Brutal event rather than refunded. The entrance is off the A325; the What3words reference given for the entry is ///track.glance.podcast but the entry point may change and final details will be communicated before the event.
