Brownlow Dirt Loop - Prescott, Arizona
Held May 22, 2027 in Prescott, the Brownlow Dirt Loop repurposes the Brownlow 5K/10K course into a roughly 1.92 miles loop. The event runs as timed formats in which participants complete as many laps as they choose within a set period.
Participants select from three formats: 3 hour, 6 hour, or 12 hour. The course includes rolling singletrack and open sections typical of local Prescott terrain. Lighting is provided for nighttime running so the loop can be run after dark.
The event is described as fully supported and sanctioned, with course markings and supplied aid stations. Awards and recognition include finisher medals plus winner medals and prizes. Entry fees are listed at $65, $85, and $105. Event amenities noted on site include a DJ, multiple food trucks, an illuminated course, a merch store, a training plan, and a Race Bible document.
Organizer Dirty Goat Adventures states a focus on marked courses, supplied aid stations, and intentional race design. The race director has over 25 years of experience supporting and running races and has competed in multiple Arizona ultramarathons. The event layout returns runners frequently to a central party hub where music, lights, and spectators are present. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
