Trail Running in Albuquerque
The Bosque Bigfoot Trail Runs take place in the Bosque area of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Organized by RaceNM, the event utilizes a course that winds through a mix of single-track paths and jeep roads. The environment is characterized by cottonwood trees and trails located near the Pueblo Montaño Picnic Area & Trailhead.
Race Categories
Participants can choose from three distinct distances:
- 50 km Ultra Challenge
- 16 mile Discovery (approximately 25 km)
- 8 mile Explorer
Course Support and Amenities
The race routes are marked for navigation. Aid stations are positioned along the course approximately every 8 miles. These stations are stocked with supplies including Tailwind and hot food items.
Participant Items
All registered participants receive a custom race bib and a high-quality event shirt. Those who complete their designated distance receive an exclusive finisher medal.
