About the race
The Bootstrap Boogie Trail Race is the sixth annual trail event taking place at Sheldon Point Trail in Saint John, New Brunswick on October 31, 2026. The event features two distance options:
- 9 km
- 17 km
Both courses run primarily on single-track trail and include sections on a beach and a dirt road. The longer distance also includes several boardwalk sections. All participants receive an Athlete Guide with event information prior to race day.
Registration is online only and closes on Sunday, October 25, 2026. The event policy states there are no deferrals or refunds; transfers are available for a Race Roster transfer fee of $2.25. Transfers may be made to another registered participant or to a different distance, with instructions initiated through the Race Roster transfer process. The advertised entry price includes mandatory fees and a CA$5 donation to a local charity; entries also include a swag bag and access to a fully stocked aid station. Organizers note they cannot guarantee swag for registrations completed after October 2, 2026.
