About the race
The Tyrone Race Series organizes Book It for the Huntingdon County Library on November 14, 2026, at Rails to Trails Alexandria Trailhead (Alfarata Station) in Alexandria, PA. The event supports the Huntingdon County Library and includes running, walking, and a short kids sprint.
Distances included:
- 3.1 miles 5K run
- 2 miles walk
- 100 yards kids sprint
The course is an out-and-back on a rolled crushed limestone trail along Rails to Trails Alexandria and is described as extremely flat. Timing is provided by Miles of Smiles Timing Services. Registration options include early and day-of pricing with different fees for adults, students (18 and under), and children 9 and under; early-registration shirt options are available and registration includes shirts in youth and adult sizes. In the event of cancellation, proceeds will be given to the Huntingdon County Library. The event may be postponed for inclement weather; updates and final arrangements are handled by the organizer.
