About the race
Bobcat Trail Races take place on October 17, 2026 in Palmer Park, Colorado Springs, CO. The event is organized by Aravaipa Running and features marked trail courses through the park’s rocky bluffs, single track, rolling hills, and forested sections with views of the city and Pikes Peak.
Distances offered
- 50K : ~31.0 miles, 3,591 ft elevation gain
- 25K : ~15.36 miles, 1,796 ft elevation gain
- 10K : ~6.5 miles, 710 ft elevation gain
- 5K : ~3.68 miles, 400 ft elevation gain
Aid stations are provided on the 50K, 25K, and 10K courses at several mile markers; there are no aid stations for the 5K. The courses are marked with orange ribbon with black polka dots, and incorrect or nonrace trails use blue and white checkerboard ribbon. Runners may store a finish line drop bag at the finish area. Crews and spectators are welcome at the start and finish area, though parking may be limited. Pacers are not allowed for any distance.
Mandatory gear and course navigation policies include carrying a reusable cup for aid stations and having an offline course map or GPX file available on a personal device.
