Blue Ridge Ultra
The Blue Ridge Ultra is a set of trail races held in Blue Ridge, Georgia, inside the Chattahoochee National Forest. Distances offered are listed below. The event starts and finishes at the historic Shallowford iron bridge over the Toccoa River and runs on marked trails with signs and flagging.
The course includes extensive sections of the Benton MacKaye Trail, additional hidden singletrack paths, and Forest Service roads. Runners will encounter technical singletrack, small creek crossings, steep ascents, and steep descents. The 50K field has provisions for drop bags: one one-gallon bag provided at check-in and placed at Aid Station #2 and Aid Station #5. The race operates multiple aid stations; six fully stocked aid stations are listed as part of participant services.
