About the race
Bloom & Zoom is a charity distance festival in Cary, North Carolina, held on May 8, 2027 at the soccer park located at 201 Soccer Park Dr., Cary, NC 27511. The event offers both in-person and virtual options and supports running, walking, rolling, and strolling on the course.
Distances offered include:
- 8K in-person and virtual
- 5K in-person and virtual
- Fun Mile (1 mile) in-person and virtual
Additional event formats and services include a Kids in Strollers option, which permits parents registered in the 5K, 8K, or Fun Mile to push small children in a stroller; all children must be registered and numbered under their own name and birthdate. An exhibitor option reserves vendor booth space only; exhibitor registration does not include race entry.
Finisher medals and a gift are provided to 5K, 8K, and Fun Mile participants, guaranteed for registrations completed by April 25. Shirts are available for purchase separately. There are over $4,000 in potential in-person and virtual awards across overall and age-group categories, plus awards for special recognitions and a bonus for setting a new course record; a new course record earns a $10 gift code.
