Blackout 5k / 10k Mountain Race
The Blackout Mountain Race takes place on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at Cranmore Resort in North Conway, New Hampshire. This is the ninth edition of the event.
Two course distances are offered:
- 10 km
- 5 km
The route is a mix of access roads and ski trails. The course will be marked with reflective flagging and LED lanterns, and a tentative course map is available but may change based on conditions.
Headlamps are required; participants are advised to bring fresh batteries and a backup. Headlamps will also be available for purchase at registration. Check-in and bib pick up occur at the Arlberg Children’s Center, and bibs include event swag.
Organizers request that participants complete the Cranmore waiver before arrival to speed registration. Registration is handled online through UltraSignup. Volunteer signups are available.
