Turkey Shuffle - San Antonio (November 7, 2026)
The Turkey Shuffle takes place at Lady Bird Johnson Trail Park in San Antonio, Texas on November 7, 2026. The event includes on-course aid stations, post-race snacks and refreshments at the race rally tent, live awards announcements at the registration tent, and a DJ on site.
Distances offered:
- Kids Dash - approx 50 m, for children 10 and under.
- 1 Mile - untimed, includes a shirt and medal.
- 5K (3.11 miles) - chip timed, with overall trophies and age group awards.
- 10K (6.22 miles) - chip timed, with overall trophies and age group awards.
- Virtual Run - 6.22 miles, virtual participation option.
The Kids Dash is not timed and includes a t-shirt, race medal, and a recognition pin; race staff will capture photos. The 5K and 10K include first overall trophies for male and female finishers and age group awards across multiple brackets, including a masters recognition pin for age 40+.
A costume contest is part of the event; winners receive a "Biggest Turkey" trophy and a prize pack with two free future race certificates, a HEB gift card, and Bigfoot Running Company swag. Volunteer roles are available, including a limited "Volunteer then Run" option restricted to the first 20 signups; volunteers generally arrive 1.5 hours before the start. Course surfaces may include pavement, crushed granite, and some dirt.
Bigfoot Running Company events proceed rain or shine. No refunds are given, but transfers to the virtual option, another event, or to another participant are available. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
