Big Horse Vineyards 5K
The event takes place at Big Horse Vineyards in Lewistown, Illinois on August 29, 2027. It is hosted by Gut Check Fitness and combines trail running with mud-run elements and natural terrain features.

The 5K course includes trails, mud sections, hills, hollows, streams, and ponds with natural obstacles. There are three 5K heats: a Competitive Heat for individuals (timed with awards for the top three), a Competitive Heat for teams (teams of three or more), and a Fun Run heat for individuals and teams. The Fun Run heat is not timed and does not have awards. For participants aged 9 to 12 in any 5K heat, a parent or guardian must run with the child for the entire course due to the terrain.
The Beer Mile consists of four 400-meter laps with a beer consumed each lap; it is offered in individual and team relay categories. Participants must be 21 or older for the Beer Mile. Team size for Beer Mile relays is two to four members.
