Besotted at Bingley
Besotted at Bingley is a series of chip timed canal-side trail races held on the Leeds and Liverpool Canal near Wagon Lane, Bingley BD16 1TS. The route is an out-and-back on a firm towpath described as good trail with flat elevation apart from the 3-rise and 5-rise locks. The event is Trail Running Association licensed under UKA rules.

The course is marshalled and signed, with feed and drink stations approximately every three miles. Finishers receive a bespoke medal and additional treats. Organisers provide downloadable GPX files for navigation and operate a largely cup-less policy at aid stations, so runners are encouraged to bring a reusable cup or bottle. Large over-ear headphones are banned on course; bone conduction or one-ear setups are permitted.
Logistics: car parking, registration and toilets are at Bradford and Bingley Rugby Club, Wagon Lane BD16 1LT. After registration participants walk up to the Fishermans Pub Garden, about a 10 minute walk, where the event starts and finishes. Bingley train station is about 1.5 miles from the registration area; there is no dedicated parking at the start/finish so on-road parking and town centre parking are used.
