Belfast 24

Belfast 24 is a weekend community festival event presented by We Run Wild NI on 26 and 27 June 2027 in Victoria Park. The event uses a one mile loop around the park and includes a mix of timed ultra and shorter distance races.

Distances offered include:

• 24 Hour Individual: run continuously for 24 hours.
• 24 Hour Relay: teams of 2 to 4 people, male, female, or mixed.
• 100 Mile: complete 100 miles within the event period.
• 100 Km: a 100 kilometre option.
• 50 Km: a 50 kilometre option.
• Marathon and Double Marathon: single marathon or back to back marathons.
• Half Marathon: limited to 100 entries.
• 10 km: limited to 100 entries.

The event is chip timed. All entrants receive a printed event T shirt and all finishers receive a medal. Participants who complete 100 miles in under 24 hours receive a special Belfast 24 100 mile fleece. Trophies are planned for first, second and third male and female in each event and for first relay teams in each category; no age category prizes are listed. The organiser operates as a no trace event so participants must bring their own cups or bottles for water. Portaloo facilities are provided and hot water plus simple food options such as pasta and porridge will be available for longer race categories. Limited parking is available in the park and a local Parkrun operates on the morning of the event prior to this weekend festival.
