Belfast 24 2027

Belfast 24 is a weekend community festival event scheduled for 26 and 27 June 2027, pending council approval. The event follows the same format as previous years and takes place on a continuous 1 mile loop around Victoria Park.

Distances offered include:

  • 24 hour Individual event where the farthest runner wins.
  • 24 hour Relay for teams of 2 to 4, male, female or mixed.
  • 100 Mile event, first to reach 100 miles is the winner.
  • 100 Km event with a 21 hour completion window.
  • 50 Km event with a 21 hour completion window.
  • Marathon and Double Marathon options.
  • Half Marathon limited to 100 entries.
  • 10 km limited to 100 entries.

The main 24 hour format measures distance covered over the event period. Teams in the relay divide running time among members. Chip timing will be used and Portaloo facilities will be available. For those who complete 100 miles in under 24 hours there is a special Belfast 24 100 mile fleece. Every entrant receives a Belfast 24 printed T shirt and every finisher receives a Belfast 24 medal. Water will be available but participants must bring their own cups or bottles as the organiser follows a no trace policy. Limited parking is available in Victoria Park and camping or gazebo pitching is possible from the evening before the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
