2026 BC Athletics Cross Country Championships
The provincial cross country championships take place on October 17, 2026 in Nanoose Bay, British Columbia. The event offers multiple race distances across youth, junior, senior and masters categories.
Race distances include:
- 1.5 km course for younger birth years
- 2 km youth course
- 3 km youth course
- 4 km race distance
- 6 km race distance
- 8 km race distance
- 10 km race distance
Eligibility requires a BC Athletics annual or fall athletes membership. Competitors from other Canadian provinces must hold a current competitive athlete membership in their home province. Athletics Canada Community Road and Trail Memberships are not eligible. Out-of-country athletes should contact the event organizers for entry information.
Registration follows three deadlines with different fees: an early bird deadline on September 20, 2026 (which includes a free BC Athletics tee), a regular deadline on October 4, 2026, and a late deadline on October 11, 2026. Fees vary by age category and deadline; an officials development fee of CAD 5 applies per registrant. GST at 5% applies to certain categories. All fees are non-refundable. Payment is accepted online and a small processing fee applies.
