Bastille Day Trail Run : Franschhoek
The Bastille Day Trail Run takes place on Saturday, 10 July 2027 at Plaisir Wine Estate in Franschhoek. The event offers multiple trail distances with limited entry numbers and marked routes across estate terrain.
Included with entry are a race number and timing, a conservation fee, marked trails, refuel stations, event photography, medics on standby, finishers medals, and informal event atmosphere described as "lekker vibes."
Distances and standard entry fees:
- 35 km : R1950
- 25 km : R1250
- 17 km : R690
- 10 km : R490
- 6 km : R250
Enter before 10 June 2027 to receive distance-specific apparel or socks: a race jacket for the longest distance, race shirts for selected middle distances, and trail socks for the shortest distances.
Registration is scheduled over two days: Thursday, 8 July (venue to be confirmed) and Friday, 9 July at Plaisir Wine Estate, Franschhoek, from 3 pm to 6 pm. Late entries are available on Thursday at registration only. Upgrades, downgrades, and substitutions are permitted only at Thursday registration; a R100 substitution fee applies.
