5K Bark-A-Thon
The 5K Bark-A-Thon is scheduled for September 12, 2026, at North Glenmore Park, Crowchild Trail Southwest, Calgary, AB, Canada. The event is organized to raise funds for Pawsitive Match Rescue Foundation; fundraising progress listed is CA$4,683.13 raised toward a CA$15,000 goal (31% raised).
The main running event is a 5K on park trails. A lead cyclist will guide participants along the course and a sweep volunteer will monitor the back of the field. Participants collect race materials at a registration tent where bibs and event shirts are distributed according to registration type.

A post-run Bark-A-Thon festival follows the running portion. Prize examples promoted by the organizer include a hotel stay, a Lululemon bundle, a group Pilates class, and an oil change package.
