2027 Badass Human Race Presented by GECU
The Badass Human Race returns to El Paso on June 12, 2027 at 401 N. Mesa, El Paso, TX 79901. The event is an urban obstacle race that combines running with signature obstacles and other physical challenges on a course of approximately 3 Miles.
The event includes multiple start waves, including VIP and open waves, plus competitive divisions. Participants receive a finisher medal. On-course support and event amenities include athlete recovery and hydration areas, sponsor activations, vendors, music, and other entertainment. The start and finish areas are described as elevated experiences.
Registration follows staged phases in October 2026 with a First Access option for previous participants. A First Access pass is available for a $5 fee; that amount is credited toward 2027 race registration. Competitive entry fees listed in the event details reach $400 for certain divisions.
Participants must be at least 16 years old. The organizer notes that wave assignments can sell out and that First Access may improve the chance to secure preferred waves.
The format and amenities emphasize a mix of timed competition options and mass-participation waves, with on-site services for hydration and recovery and a festival-style presence from sponsors and vendors. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
