Astron Energy Trail
The Astron Energy Trail is a trail running event scheduled for Sunday 21 February 2027 at The Fat Tracks Containers in Baakens Valley, Port Elizabeth. The event is presented in partnership with Astron Energy and Toby's Motors. Participants are encouraged to wear orange.
Distances and entry fees are listed as follows:
- 5 km: R175. Primary School children under 13 pay R50.
- 15 km: R225.
- 20 km: R275.
Age categories and eligibility are specified. The A-Batch under 13 category is limited to the 5 km distance. The C-Batch 50 and older category may enter the 5 km, 15 km and 20 km distances.
Entry administration details include opening and closing dates and fees. Entries open on 1 January 2027 and pre-entries close on 18 February 2027. No refunds are allowed. Substitutions are permitted and can be managed via an Entry Ninja profile. An additional R50 is charged for late entries and late substitutions on race day carry a R150 fee per entry.
