About the race
ARC Irene Trail Run/Walk is a trail running and walking event held at Irene Athletics Club inside the ARC Irene grounds in Centurion, Gauteng. The event offers multiple marked routes with water tables and finisher medals. Route information, elevation profiles and GPX downloads are available for participants. Entry fees for online pre-entry are listed by distance; an on-the-day entry surcharge applies.
Reduced pricing applies to children under 13 years and adults over 60 years for specified distances. No race license is required to participate. Cash, card and SnapScan are accepted on the day.
The venue provides a clubhouse with coffee, drinks and snacks and parking. Pets are not allowed. Specific route notes: - Road option uses roads inside the ARC Irene grounds only - Trail routes are full distance with no loops - Walking or hiking is allowed on the 2 km, 5 km, 10 km and 15 km routes A Make a Difference campaign allows participants to donate their medal cost and additional contributions; proceeds will be donated to an animal shelter at year end.
