About the race
Hope in Motion is a community 5 km spring trail run held at Huddle Park Golf & Recreation in Linksfield, Johannesburg. The route is a single trail (no loops) that passes scenic areas with gentle hills and includes a halfway water point and route marshals. The event is pet-friendly for leashed dogs, welcomes walkers and runners, and is not pram-friendly.
No race license is required. Entry is R80 and all proceeds go to the Dacosbro Foundation to support people with physical and mental disabilities. Children under 3 enter free. The first 100 finishers receive a free goodie bag; prizes and refreshments are available at the finish.
Entry includes venue access, secured parking, a marked route, and the halfway water stop. Online entries close on 05 September 2026.
