About the race
The Apple Mash Dash Cider 5K Run/Walk takes place on October 10, 2026 at Avon Town Hall - Blue Heron Park, 6570 E US Hwy 36, Avon, IN 46123. The event features a 5K route that winds through the park's scenic trails and finishes at the Harvest Hayrides Festival.
Every participant receives a race shirt and a medal, plus a choice of hard cider or apple cider at the finish. A costume contest awards a trophy for the most creative outfit. Post-run activities at the Harvest Hayrides Festival include live music, a vendor village, a pumpkin patch, hayrides, and a photo-op trail.
The event is open to all ages and is hosted by the Avon Parks Department. Registration opens August 3, 2026 and closes October 10, 2026; the registration fee is $25.00.
