Winter Trail Frosty
Winter Trail Frosty takes place on February 20, 2027, at Eagle Creek Park in Indianapolis (7602 Eagle Beach Drive, Indianapolis, IN 46254). The event offers two race distances:
- Half Marathon
- Quarter Marathon
The course uses a 6.55 mile loop that is nearly all single-track trail. The quarter marathon is one loop and the half marathon is two loops. Each 6.55 mile loop includes two water stops that provide water and Gatorade or an equivalent, and half marathon runners have an additional aid stop at the start/finish area. Portable restrooms are available at the start/finish and at each aid station.
All distances are chip timed with a RaceResult bib tag system; chips are attached to the back of the bib and are disposable. Results are posted online immediately after finish. Top three overall awards are presented as soon as the third place male and female finishers cross the line. Age-group awards are given to the top three males and females in standard age brackets from 12-17 up to 70+.
The event includes a heavy duty finisher medal, optional long-sleeve race shirt, free downloadable race photos, and on-course photography. There is no virtual option and entries are non-refundable; transfers and other registration policies are stated by the organizer. Dogs are not permitted on the course.
