About the race
The Annadel Loop is the 40th annual trail race held at Annadel State Park on November 1, 2026. The course is a 6.45-mile trail route through the park hills. The race start is in the State Park parking lot at the end of Channel Drive; this differs from past years when the start was at the Cobblestone Trailhead.
The event uses staggered starts: runners receive head starts based on age and gender. Awards are given to the top 13 finishers. The field is limited to the first 100 runners who register; the listing shows 57 spaces remaining. There are no refunds unless the event is cancelled.
Registration options and fees are published for Empire Runners Club members, new membership purchases, and non-members. Member online entry is free through the online registration deadline; race day registration carries an additional fee. Published membership prices for 2027 that include entry to this race are $36 for a new adult membership, $48 for a new family membership, and $12 for a new youth membership. Non-member online registration and race day fees are also specified.
Parking space in the lot at the end of Channel Drive is limited. Organizers note carpooling and dispersed parking as options, and suggest parking on nearby streets such as Montgomery Drive or Violetti with a short jog down Channel Drive to reach the start.
