Alley Trail Classic
The Alley Trail Classic occurs on November 15, 2026 at Charles Alley Nature Park in Lancaster, Ohio (2805 Old Logan Road SE). The event presents two main trail races on park trails and looped routes.
Distances offered:
- 5 km (3.54 mi / 5.7 km): loop starting and finishing at the Nature Center, with a water stop near halfway.
- 28 km (17.7 mi / 28.5 km): five loops of the 5 km course with a fully stocked aid station at start/finish and space for crew drop bags.
The 5 km course uses technical single- and double-track trails with short paved and gravel sections and totals about 814 ft (248 m) of ascent. The 28 km event totals about 4,070 ft (1,240 m) of ascent and has a five hour cut-off. Course measurements note possible GPS deviation.
Event services include digital chip timing with online results, live tracking partnership for on-course splits, a post-race plant based meal provided for participants, a quality event t-shirt, and free high-resolution race photos. Organizers list a minimum prize pool of $1,350 paying three places deep across male, female, and non-binary categories, with additional cash prizes and Fleet Feet Columbus gift cards for winners.
