After The Leaves / Josh Feldt Half Marathon
The After The Leaves / Josh Feldt Half Marathon is a 13.1 Miles trail road event held on November 22, 2026, at Minnewaska State Park Preserve in Kerhonkson, NY (5281 Route 44-55, 12446). The course runs around two glacial lakes and along the Shawangunk Ridge, with views described as extending into five states. The route uses Minnewaska’s groomed, unpaved carriage trails and follows the restored Awosting Lake Carriageway, returning the event to its traditional course.
Registration is online only, with a fee of $30 and a maximum field of 300 runners. Registration opens on 2026-09-01 and closes on 2026-11-19, or earlier if the 300 runner cap is reached. The park charges a per vehicle parking fee of $10; the organizer notes that carpooling can reduce parking costs and preserve spaces.
The event offers chip timing, awards for the top three finishers in standard 10 year age groups, on-course refreshments, and a finisher gift for all finishers. Participants should be prepared to complete the course within the organizer’s published time limits; an earlier mandatory start is provided for those who need an additional thirty minutes, and entrants who cannot reasonably finish within 3 hours and 15 minutes are advised that the event is not appropriate for them.
