A Stroll in the Park - Canton, GA

A Stroll in the Park is an endurance running event held October 3, 2026 at Boling Park in Canton, GA offering timed options of 12 hours and 8 hours. Registration deadlines are noted for apparel and entry; registration to receive a race t-shirt must be completed before September 15, 2026, and general registration closes on October 2, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET.

The course is an approximately one mile crushed gravel loop with a grass shoulder. Only complete laps count toward final mileage. The surface is described as soft and free of rocks and roots; wet areas may occur in rain or snow. Organizers will provide a chart of the exact loop mileage and reference charts for common distances such as a half-marathon, marathon, and 50K.

One aid station will supply drinks, cold and hot food, cookies, candy, and later pizza, soup, and grilled cheese sandwiches; some vegetarian options will be available. The park includes toilets near the running path, shaded areas, and ample parking, and there is space for runners to set up personal support items. There are no lights along the path so runners may need headlamps around low light periods.

Lap counting uses RFID technology with manual backup and on-screen progress tracking. There are no refunds, transfers, rollovers, or deferments. Each 8 hour and 12 hour finisher receives an event completion award. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
