666 Trail Run
The 666 Trail Run is a forest trail event organised by Ashford Tri Club at Kings Wood, Challock, Ashford TN25 4AR. The route measures 6.66 miles and was first run in 2010. The course runs through woodland and combines varied surfaces and natural obstacles.
The terrain includes sections of gravel paths, muddy and wet ground, leaf-covered banks and some steep climbs where ropes are used to assist ascent. Reports from past events describe technical sections and a final mile that tests stamina. Marshals are present on the course and have been noted for offering encouragement.
Entries are limited to 200 runners and the listed entry fee is £30. Dogs are not allowed on the course. Parking at Kingswood Main Carpark is limited; signs indicate parking meters may be installed in the future and payment could be required. Phone signal at the venue is limited or absent, so navigation and communications may be affected while at the site.
The event has been described by participants as muddy and hilly with varied terrain and strong marshal support. Organisers note that practical details such as parking arrangements are subject to change beyond the event team’s control. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
