5K FEST
5K FEST is a 24 hour event in Bonney Lake, WA where a new 5K begins every hour and participants record how many 5K segments they or their team complete during the 24 hour period. Runners may compete as solo entrants or as members of a team and may run as few or as many of the hourly 5Ks as they wish.
The event takes place on the 18 acre Kearin Family Farm and uses some farm paths plus the adjacent Fennel Creek Trail. Course terrain includes pasture, rocky soil, and sections of paved trail. There is room for tents and RVs for overnight camping on site.
On-site amenities listed by the organizer include porta potties, water, electrolytes, food and snacks, music, and games. Each participant who registers early enough is listed as receiving a race T-shirt; every entrant receives a custom wood plank that is branded with the number of 5K segments completed. Pets are not allowed at the event due to insurance restrictions.
The format emphasizes repeated hourly 5Ks over a full day and is structured to allow breaks between efforts, team strategies, and overnight camping at the venue. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
