5 Peaks Mount Seymour : event description
The event takes place on the trails of Mount Seymour Provincial Park and is part of the BC 5 Peaks Trail Running Series. Courses run through dense BC forest and around Goldie and Flower lakes. The venue is located about 30 minutes from Downtown Vancouver.
A range of distances is offered for different ages and course preferences. Maps, elevation profiles, and aid station locations are provided and may change based on trail conditions up to race day.

- 1 km Kid's
- 3 km Kid's
- 6.5 km Sport Run or Hike
- 10 km Enduro Run or Hike
- 14.1 km Grit Run
A non competitive hiking division is led by two pace leaders to allow participants to walk the course without time pressure. Estimated finish times for hikers are about 2 hours for the Sport course and 3 hours for the Enduro. Hikers are required not to run to avoid interfering with race timing.
Safety rules for the course include no dogs, no headphones, no strollers or child carriers, and no nordic walking poles except in the hiking division. Washroom facilities are located in the parking lot and there is ample parking. Awards and medals are given to the top three finishers by gender in each age category and to the overall top three, and all awards must be collected at the event.
