Cypress Mountain, British Columbia

This event is a stop in the 5 Peaks Trail Running Series at Cypress Mountain. The course includes technical singletrack sections and steep climbs on doubletrack trails. New Enduro and Grit options add longer and more technical routing, including an Enduro add-on that passes two alpine lakes and many exposed roots.

Distances offered include:

  • Kid's Race ~ 1 km
  • Kid's Race 2.75 km
  • Sport Run or Hike 6.3 km
  • Enduro Hike and Run 11 km
  • Grit Run 16-18 km TBC

A non-competitive hiker division is available. Hikers are led by pace leaders, must not run, and have estimated finish times of about 2 hours for the Sport course and 3 hours for the Enduro. Hikers do not receive podium awards but are entered in draw prizes.

This is a cup free event. Water and electrolyte drink are available at the start and finish and at one or more aid stations on course; participants planning to be out longer than an hour should carry a reusable receptacle for fluids and calories.

Facilities and logistics noted for the event include washrooms near the main lodge, ample parking, spectator viewing near the start and finish, optional pre-purchase swag and finisher medals, and awards presented to top finishers in age and gender categories. Live tracking and turn by turn navigation are available via the RunGo app. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
