Trail Running calendar near San Angelo 2026-2027

Join the Shannon Trail Series in San Angelo from Jan 17 to Feb 21 2026 for three scenic trail races from 5K to 15K across local parks. Chip timed races award top finishers and series honors go to runners who complete all three events.

Trail race at San Angelo State Park on March 7, 2026 offering distances from 5K to 100K. Varied desert terrain, fully stocked aid stations every 4 to 5 miles, organized by the volunteer San Angelo Road Lizards.

The Rattlesnake Trail Run will take place in Sweetwater from Saturday 21 March 2026 to Sunday 22 March 2026. You can run between 5 and 13 miles.

An evening trail event at South Llano River State Park offering distances from 5K to 40 miles, plus a 13-mile ruck division. Rocky single-track trails, about 1000 ft elevation gain per loop, with finisher medals and aid stations.
