Trail Running calendar near Kilcunda 2026-2027

Take on the Wild Dog Backyard Ultra at Lardner Park near Warragul on 26 June 2026, looping a 6.71 km course each hour until only one runner remains. Expect farmland trails, friendly camaraderie and true endurance testing.

Silvan offers three trail courses through the Dandenong Ranges on Sunday 2 August 2026, with significant hills and single and double track. A handicap start is used and routes are clearly colour marked at splits.

Annual August trail run at Devilbend Natural Features Reserve on the Mornington Peninsula with distances from a children's Magic Mile to 21.1 km across varied surfaces; proceeds support the Mornington Peninsula Athletic Club.

A foam-filled 5K in Melbourne on 28 November 2026 featuring 25 obstacles, 2.5 million cubic feet of foam and an inflatable waterslide. Festival amenities include a kids zone, food and beer gardens and finishers' items.

Portsea Twilight is a January coastal run at Point Nepean National Park offering 9.5K, 5.5K and a Kids Dash with electronic timing, on course support and an event village with food and family activities.

A coastal trail event on the Mornington Peninsula with 28 km and 56 km options between Dromana and Cape Schanck. Entries for the January 2027 edition require prior qualification and follow published entrant information.

A coastal weekend running festival in Inverloch offering marathon to 2 km events, a finish precinct with live music and food trucks, and tiered registration that attracts many visitors from outside the region.

A multi distance trail running event along the Great Southern Rail Trail in South Gippsland, postponed to 29 May 2027, featuring ultra distances, shorter runs and heritage scenery with restored trestle bridges.
