The Kilcunda Trail Running Festival takes place on Sun 31 Jan 2027 on Victoria's Bass Coast at a nature reserve opposite the Kilcunda Ocean View Hotel, 3531-3533 Bass Hwy, Kilcunda VIC 3995. The village location is about 90 minutes from Melbourne via the Bass Highway and offers access to Phillip Island, Inverloch and Wonthaggi.
Courses run along rolling grassy slopes and sandy beaches, with hills between cliffs that overlook the Southern Ocean and sections through green fields where cattle graze.

Selected race details: the 21 km course has 501 m elevation gain, a 4.00 hour cut-off and an age limit of 16 years on event day; mandatory gear includes 500ml water, with a phone and a snake bandage recommended. The 17 km course has 470 m elevation gain, a 4.00 hour cut-off and an age limit of 12 years; mandatory gear includes 500ml water, with a phone and a snake bandage recommended. The 10 km race has a 2.5 hour cut-off and an age limit of 12 years; mandatory gear includes 500ml water, with a phone and a snake bandage recommended. The 5 km race has a 1.5 hour cut-off.
