Zombie Mania

Zombie Mania takes place on October 10, 2026 in Rexburg, ID at 5th West 3rd North. The main event is a 5 km loop through Nature Park and Eagle Park on a flat course.

Runners wear flags that represent their health while volunteers dressed as zombies try to steal those flags as runners move through the course. Volunteers may pop out of bushes and other course-side areas to attempt to take a life belt.

The event includes multiple starting heats and a youth category. A separate Costume Run covers 1 mile through Nature Park and Eagle Park and does not include volunteers acting as zombies. The Costume Run is listed for ages 0 to 12 and there is a Young Zombies category for ages 12 and under.
