Trail Run Australia stages a two-day trail running stage race in Port Stephens, centred on Fingal Bay and coastal routes through Tomaree National Park. The event runs across two consecutive days and offers multiple stage race distances as well as single-day entry options for each distance.

Each course combines natural trails, beach running and short sections of tarmac. The 57 km ultra lists cumulative elevation gain roughly in the mid-hundreds of metres per day and climb factors are provided for planning. Race facilities are based at Fingal Bay Foreshore and include public amenities, showers, drinking fountains, parking and beach access. Aid stations are fully stocked and finishers receive a token or gift. Entry pricing is tiered, with the listed bands ranging from a one-day special through to full price entry.
